The manual harvest in early october is followed by the grapes vinification: a forty days maceration at controlled temperature and the subsequent malolactic fermentation. After thirty-six months in the traditional large oak barrels, this Barolo spends othersix monthsin the bottle for a final refinement. The name San Carlo pays tribute to the protector of the district where Dezzani has been based for more than eighty years. Production area Langhe Grape Nebbiolo Wine features The color is typically red garnet. The aromas are complex and elegant ranging from ripe red fruit and spices until “toasty and tar”.
